			<description>If I were destined to die tomorrow

I would not wish you there right by my side

For I could not bear to see your sorrow,

And by then you’d have known that I had lied.



Each time you asked how I felt, I’d say fine.

I did not want you to worry for me

I was ill, but content, for you were just mine.

And I wished, next week, that’s how you’d still be.



I know that it’s selfish to think that way

But even so, I don’t want you to go

No more than you want to say to me bye
